Geez...Lay off the cool comment. Never did I say the man was cool, just that he made doing something pretty dumb look cool. He looks like a douchebag. But I would still take that bike for long distance touring, we have to agree to disagree about the bike. Probably one of the only good HDs.
No offense, but you sound like a major buzzkill. Are they putting saltpeter in the kangaroo meat or something?
Maybe I'm just young and stupid, but I found that video entertaining.

I never said You said anything mate.
I am not worried if you think I am a major buzzkill or not.
Remember "Maybe I'm just young and stupid, " you said it not me

OK, I'm going to admit it. The indy round of the HD race...I watched it. And yeah, they were slow. But you know what? They were entertaining. Watching the bikes tie themselves in knots in the corners, and the riders trying to man-handle them around was fun.
There. I said it. I enjoyed watching a HD race. So there.
Please don't make me trade my F1 for nascar now!

If you liked that, then you'd really get a boner if it was a pack of road kings with trailers.
Hmmm, that actually might be entertaining now that I think about it.

Why am I suddenly picturing the Top Gear caravan race?

Would be alot more interesting if they were stock baggers.
I am surprised the NASCAR gang hasn't madea stock bike form of racing: All "American made air cooled narrow angle V twins, stock frames, feet forward, left turn only on pavement."

Even NECKCAR fans might be horrified by the carnage...
...Then again, maybe not.

I've watched a few vids of the XR1200 series on YouTube and it reminded me of old AMA superbike racing.

I think the attraction was something like vintage sportscar racing. I'd much rather watch a pack of TransAm era Boss 302s or Alfa GTAs fighting it out than their new equivalents even though the new cars are infinity faster/better race cars.
