I quit the circuits in 1972 and at no time did any woman on the track ever look like these gals. That's what happens when you were born to early.

Yes.
While you may have time to peruse the entirety of the interwebs  for grid girls, many of us are too lazy, prudish, or are otherwise occupied and are well served by our friends that perform the vital duties of research and screening to bring forward the very best of the genre. We, the otherwise burdened, owe a great debt to those unencumbered by gainful pursuit or intrusive oversight, for sharing with us the fruits of their arduous labors.

Your memory is shot HAP. I just had a look on the historic mammoth racing site, from about the time your were born, and the brollie dollies looked pretty tappable to me.
