My new Scooter! $100 barn find...sort of

Score! Been looking for a scooter for a few months and just picked this up for next to nothing. No title, key or paperwork or any kind but it has spark and good plastic, that's worth the money right there. Not sure of the year but it's a Honda Elite 150 so it can only be one of four years that they made them. If I can't get it running I can easily make money on the plastic and parts. 3K miles, only problem with the plastic is a scratch on the front fender and a broken turn signal which can be repaired. This the very cool, flip up headlight model. It'll be coming in the house tomorrow so I can work on it at my leisure.

I'm not worried about the lack of paperwork unless it turns out stolen. I can register it and get a title in either VT or NH not sure which but it's easy enough from what I've read.
The used exhaust will sell on eBay for more than I paid so if I can't get it running it'll be parted out. I hope I can get it running though. Sounds like it could be as simple to fix as a cheap CDI unit from what I've read online today.

They aren't the prettiest scoots but the more I looked at them the more I got to like the Jetson space age look of it. That pop up headlight really says the 80's big time. I should have offered the guy $80 but that just seemed silly and I couldn't bring myself to do it. I should have though.
They have a vent on the inside of the fairing that you can open in the winter, it lets the warm air off the radiation flow through over your feet! I ride in the winter, that would be a good feature. It also has a rear brake pedal instead of a rear brake lever on the left bar, when I've ridden other scoots I'd always grab that thing like a clutch lever and come to a screeching halt. I like the brake pedal idea a lot.

Check out this dash...

So here's a link telling how to register a bike with no paperwork. I hope it works cause I fully intend to be riding this beast once I get it running.

I dig it. Especially the Vette flip up headlight.

But...does it have enough juice to power your custom heated jacket liner?

I doubt it but it's got heat to the feet! Doubt I'll need heat to the torso tooling on this awesome space age ride. Heart rate alone should keep me warm and toasty don't you think?
It does have a voltmeter so I could monitor my power useage. Even the Tiger isn't that sophisticated.
My handlebar mitts should easily fit this monster.

Ride, you do realize what happens in the den when there is a deformed, little runt in the litter?
