And finally, we seem to have threadjacked the WSBK thread, and should probably be discussing this on the GP thread you started, but whatever...

PS I hope you're wrong. I hope WSBK continues to rock and MotoGP gets better.
Yes Ezzie was the main reason Stoner is opting out.... You only have to look at Rossis time with Ducati to see that Casey had a gift to adapt to different machines ( including Ducati ) and ride past there idiosyncrasies .

I did start a seperate WSBK thread because there is so much angst surroundind Moto GP and I felt like I was hijacking Boldors Moto GP thread some times but it dont really matter, Both threads can stand a little of the other or BSB, AMA , ASBK etc . Its all good .

Althea and Ducati go their separate ways: http://www.bikesportnews.com/news-de...13&newsid=8339

That's a surprise. I wonder who is going to run the official Ducati entry from next year?

D. I read that on crashnet right after reading in on cycle news but you have claimed for weeks we shouldn't trust crashnet. Did he retire as cyclenews says or is it all a lie because crashnet says he did? Golly I am in a turmoil here.

No turmoil. The Roman Emporer has called it a day:
http://www.sportlive.co.za/motorspor...biaggi-retires

He was always full of attitude, confrontational, controversial and an extremely gifted, skillful rider. A most colourful character. I don't suppose we'll see the likes of him again for a while.

Thanks Massimiliano, it sure was entertaining!

I heard it elsewhere, the crashnet link was the first that came up when I googled it so Boldor would not castigate me down to old codger status if I did not provide a link.

...But I guess you already know how that feels, eh??

NO more link castigation. HAP does it now. So when he doesn't I know he's just being stubborn.
