Grasshopper does it matter? Suppose a tiger steals your wallet and outraged you chase after it yelling 'stop thief!'. The tiger will hear your cries and will turn and confront you. You will turn and run. Who cares if you he catches you before you reach the point where you lost your wallet or after that point? Either way he will eat you.

Can I ask a rhetorical question?

Why not? The level of sarcasm around here's abysmal. Rhetoric can't be any worse.
Can it?

It is, yes. I'm now engaged in deep contemplation.

What if Descartes was lying when he said, "I think, therefore I am?"

I think his posture is of minimal relevance to his argument.

What is the Post Modern interpretation of Cartesian philosophy?

Wow! There are philosophies pertaining to carts?

Were these philosophies spawned in the times of Steptoe & Son?

The only thing spawned during Steptoe & Son were lots of 'Cor Blimeys.
See how it's done?

Gotcha!

Is it just me or are there a record number of bare legged two-wheeled pilots out this Summer?

Bare legged pilots--hell, we don't even have bare legged stewardess, excuse me, flight attendants any more!

Whatever happened to the friendly skies?

The charge a fee for that now.

I had Santa Barbara cab drivers bidding against each other to get me to take their cab yesterday. Is that legal in California?
