Ride to Panama
6 more days before I depart on another amazing ride with my 2009 Triumph Bonneville SE. Destination is Panama.
Riding to Toronto Canada alone around 550 miles, hang out a bit with friends, then ride to Chicago Illinois alone, another 500+ miles, hang out with friends.
Then on July 2 or 4 (we have not decided) I will be accompanied to Panama with a group of Harley riders, all men. I am the only female and these guys ride very fast. The thing is that my Triumph Bonneville can handle the speed and is usually the first one on the highway because I push that bike to her limits, almost to that red line.....
The ride to Panama will take 28 days when when I arrive back in Chicago, will head over to Sturgis South Dakota for bike week.
Follow my journey, click on the Spot button and check it out.

Welcome to Canada!
Triumphs like coming here. That's 2 that will have crossed our border in less than a month if you include dogtired. Would have been 3 but I don't think 68t120R actually crossed the border.

HDs that ride fast? & a Bonnie leads them? I think we might have a different definition of fast.
Whatever the speed, I hope you have a great ride, & a safe return. Sounds like a real adventure. I hope you post plenty of pics.

Will you be doing these two legs as one day rides? or breaking the 500's into two days?

Buenas suerte and take a tire repair tool/patch kit! Have some friends flying down to Nicaragua about the same time, I'll tell them to wave if they see the group. Careful in Honduras, just spoke with an old friend who is a manager of a plant there....lots of problems around San Pedro Sula, esp."opportunistic" crime (grab and runs, etc). The border between Guat & Mexico is always fun....they always manage to extract an extra $50 or so for "Tramites" (boarder documentation). Notarized copies of a title for the bike may also be a good thing.
Enjoy!
