Triumph Jackets and World Of Triumph
Hey all,
I am considering amongst other jackets, the Triumph Hawk #2 Mens Leather Jacket from World of Triumph, but I am put off because of shipping costs and an unknown warranty on it. http://www.worldoftriumph.com/produc...745¤cy=2
What's the general consensus of Triumph branded stuff? WoT has it on sale right now and with shipping, at the current exchange rate, it would be about $200.
I am also considering this as well http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...er-Jacket.aspx
I like the thought of all the protection and the details in it like Kevlar thread, Knox armor and a Knox spine protector. More money, but looks like one heck of a tough jacket.

I have the Hawk, great leather, fit, details, and style. The Hawk 2 is even better with side waist adjusters and other aesthetic details.
That price seems real low, even with shipping it sounds like a great deal.
Funny how they change styles frequently and then online retailers mark them down as if they are obsolete, but it's a leather jacket, you'll have it for years.

I like that they change styles regularly, it makes every jacket slightly more unique.

I have the Triumph Balham jacket and Integra textile vented. I think the quality is very good on both. Both have removable armor in shoulders and elbows.

I have a Triumph Raptor mesh jacket - good product - fits well and has good elbow and shoulder armor.

I nearly bought that jacket when it was at full price. I didn't buy it because I don't own a Hink (I thought it would be weird wearing a Hink jacket but owning a Meriden). If I could get it at that price without getting gouged with shipping fees I would buy it regardless. I like the styling.

Triumph has top notch gear, the best quality going. I have the H2 sport and my wife has the spirit jacket. I also have other stuff, boots, gloves,shirts... Alot of it goes on sale when they change. Don't know exactly where some of it's made but i"d recommend thier stuff to anybody

I agree with Triumphforever.
I bought the H2 leather jacket 2 years ago and never spent that much money on any article of wear. I had been "eyeballing" the leather jeans, but didn't want to spend $350 for these.
Things changed after I encountered a deluge in Arkansas and after getting taking off the jacket, was completely dry on the top. The H2's leather is waterproof and breatheable (if that's a word).
The problem is parting with that money for top quality gear. Reckon ya get what you pay for.

I think calling Triumph gear the best ever is a bit strong (Dainese? Alpinestars? Spidi?), but their stuff does have a good reputation.
