Being unemployed doesn't have a lot of up sides, but it does leave me free to enjoy perfect motorcycle days like today.

Wandered around the battle fields at Gettysburg for most of the afternoon. Picture is "Little Round Top"

Darn Cat, that's a tough act to follow. Wife and I rode out to a fancy restaurant, only to find a bunch of rich Jag owners had rented it out for the day for their club ride.

This guy was a member of a different club I think. When you start using 2x2s and plywood on your bike, it's time to re-evaluation your life.

Jeesh, I just noticed this! prop abusing his almighty moderator powers last fall and defacing what I'm sure was an above-average post. I'm positive I did nothing to deserve that. Positive I tell you.

Anyways, wife and I got out Thanksgiving and the day prior. It is a gift from above to ride late November around here, and now we're forecast to be in the 50s all day on Monday. In December. Ever worry that you'll go to work on such a day, only to be met with wrath when you're at the Pearly Gates with everyone mad that you ignored a gift from the Big Guy? I have no intention of running that risk. So, here's a picture from Thanksgiving, and I plan to have more next week.

That last picture is just right.
Beautiful composition.
It's nice to look at and it tells a story. A good story.

Thanks.

Finally.

Anyhoo, yes the day before thanksgiving was an excellent ride. I wish I had taken pictures. No matter though.

The roads are heavily salted here now, so I am going to put Tiger and Bonneville away for the winter this weekend after their oil change, but the KLR650 stays online.

Now and again some clear days come along through the winter, and a quick jaunt can really help with da winter blues.

So can a shed.

Not sure why I didn't see this until now..

Weird thing is, I spend more time in GA than in IL.. Next week I'll be a FL resident all week..

And Propforward and BB, we need to have a few more beers next year.. I thought I had my Sprint sold, but the buyer had two weeks to think about it and backed out. I'm much happier on my Guzzi than the Sprint, so the Sprint will be going down the road.. Someone will be getting a nice bike with full service done.

I'm a single or twin guy.. I finally have to admit it.
