Ok, Dog.... I'm flying into Miami this Friday - where ARE you guys? I'm thinking of renting a bike for a day or two. It would be crazy to meet there - or if anyone else is around at the weekend for that matter.

FMS, the Dynamic Duo left Friday after Thanksgiving, headed for undisclosed points in Alabama and guided by Zen in search of "Antiques". The latter might not be high on Dog's list, but the softer half of the duo definitely has some ambitions there.

Not much riding while they were here, the roads aren't conducive and my Tiger only got re-shod on the morning they left, but copious amounts of food and spirits were ingested. Alligators were viewed in Fish Eating Creek, the Dog (appropriately) caught a large mouth bass and spotted a feral pig in the woods, there not being any bars nearby.

Friday noon I escorted them thru the Brighton Indian Reservation and then west to US 27. Dog was impressed with a FL road that actually had more than 6 turns in only 50 miles. They left me there, headed further west to I-75 while I turned south to Moore Haven to buy a foam container of worms for my grand-girls to fish with.

God knows where they are now.

They haven't shown up here yet but Dog knows the way if he gets close.

You have spoiled him on Bass fishing forever. I could take him out all day and we wouldn't catch a single thing. That'll show him it aint so easy.

Just spent a half hour listening to Dog tell me how fantastic, wonderful,generous Captain Quake and his wife are. The food, visiting, sight seeing yada yada. Good god, give me a break Dog, I know the old fart paid you to say those things.

Well, to make a short story long, I am to prepare leg of lamb for the returning travelers for tomorrow.

Zen has led our Dog to the first hotel/city he stayed at here when he first arrived. He also is going to eat at the cafe were he had to give almost all his koala bears away to the shinny faced girls. I told him his mate not like those little girls hanging off every word he spouts. Dog doesn't care.

I reckon there's no chance of seeing Dog before he and Brit head back down under? I would have space issues anyway as my eldest has re-claimed "Denis's Room" and moved back in. Quite fitting that my "Boomerang Generation" son is reclaiming a room occupied by an Aussie

You know you are welcome to come here any time Bob. D says he isn't leaving for a week or more. One long hard day of driving and we have the room and the food. I had to tell the lady of the house you are the one who posted the truck driver picture of me. She thinks you're cool.
