Capt, it's interesting about the out of round tire - we just had TWO in succession from Metzler on one of our 'Birds. Finally switched out to Avons and the difference is marked. Much nicer ride.

Don't fall for his "out of round" story. He rides like a madman, has 60k on the poor bike and thinks it will do off road. Bearing gone I tell you.
Glad you got the real "out of round" tires replaced.

My dealer, Treasure Coast Cycles, is an independent and Rich expressed skepticism about a bad tire when I called. When I told him it would be the second one on the same bike he was incredulous. Perhaps he doesn't sell enough tires or do I wear out too many? Meantime, Murphy's Law applies and this only happens when I need the bike. There are 3 others, but I don't have them here.

Ok, I just finished reading almost 4,000 posts (not at once) on the story of Dog, WOW! What an amazing journey. I hate I'm just now reading it because I've missed the Dog several times in my neck of the woods. Dog, I really hope you do make it back to the states this spring to ride the Smokey Mountains again so I can meet you. From one dog to another safe travels you 'ol Dog!

Well we tweaked, pushed, pulled, measured, tweaked some more, measured some more, altered every nut and bolt on the gravy boat trying to get it to stop scrubbing rubber. Dog and Britt off to Key West. Hope the rig is tracking better.

Did he have a "shopping cart' wobble or something? Hacks just eat tires. I told him to get some hard dual sport rubber on there...Heidenau K60 or Kenda Big Block K784. They wear a bit longer.

DW, you are the man. Trailer, now side hack. When I come through this spring will you do the shims for me?
All kidding aside, I hope Dog isn't taking MS Brit right straight to the nude beaches. He has been going on about them since the last trip you guys took down there.

Not a wobble Mary but uneven wear. Looked like too much toe in when we put straight edges on it. The tire I had was a Heidenau K33, which is a rear tire. Should be ok. It came from up there in Zombieland too. That should help, right?
