Hey Def,
Hit Max and I up sometime. We are starting up a Triumph RAT group in central Alabama. Glad to have you onboard. In the meantime read up on this thread and read up on the Barber's Vintage thread 2012 and follow the Barber's Vintage thread 2013 and catch up.
Dennis has stayed in Birmingham twice now. Once with Paul and Robin and the second time with Max and I.
You may also want to read up on the Ozark Mountian RAT Raid 2012 thread and the 2012 Dragon RAT Raid too
Hopefully you can meet up with some of us for some rides in the future.

Dang Bob... Sounds like fun. I think Mrs. Irish and I liked the Cherohala ride better than the BRP.

There Cherohala is a wonderful ride and it's completely different if you go from Robbinsville to Tellico vs. Tellico to Robbinsville.
Cheers,
Doug

We did it both ways, and yeah, you are right it is quite different. It was on that ride that Maxine decided she wanted to sell her America and get a better handling bike. Which is why she has the Bonneville now and the America is up for sale in the Classifieds.

Very nice... I prefer it from Tellico to Robbinsville, but won't complain if I have to ride it the other way
Hope her Bonnie is coming along.

You and Dog are taking Britt to the country club, right?
Oh, we need more pics and impressions of the gravy boat too. Just saying....

Anytime Denis. You are always welcome.
We fed half the neighborhood Mac and cheese(homemade), turnip greens and cornbread night before last. We are always open

Unfortunately, I had a new tire put on the Tiger and it is either out of round, not properly seated (doesn't look like it) or the dealer managed to bend the wheel (not likely). So, it is unrideable and Judy will have to take it over to the coast tomorrow, Wednesday, when she takes the dog to the Vet.
Meantime, look up Lakeport on your GPS/Google and find the Lakeport RV Resort, we are #12. There are sightseeing activities, various animal parts for ingestion, and some Goslings Black Seal Rum for a change of flavors.
