Because 'Jap' is offensive people from Japan, just as British people get offended by the term 'Brit', etc.

Oh, wait....

It's one of those perverse oddities, just like people who are Mexican and living in the US get offended if they are called Mexican...it has to be Latino, Latina, or Hispanic instead...with the wrong tone implied any, any description like that can be offensive if the intent was there to offend initially....otherwise it's just total crap and playing the 'race card'.

People who come from Cuba, Puerto Rico or the Dominican seem to get a bit upset if they are confused with being Mexican...but to be honest, once you are a citizen, you are an American and no longer a Mexican or any other nationality, but still a Latino.

Of course, there are no MotoGP races in any of those countries, so this is probably off topic...

I wonder if anyone will ever break Casey Stoners 6 wins at Phillip Island ? doubt it . Pedrosa might be in for more competition than he,s expecting with Moto 2 World Champion Marquez as a team mate instead of Casey ? . Then youve got the Rossi and Jorge show over at Yamaha and Nicky Hayden not to be written off for Ducati.Im getting more into Moto 2 and Moto 3 with some Aussies getting podiums , good racing , much better than the two Strokes .

Mark, you don't even get a yellow card. Rack off to your SBK thread and it's 4-stroke awesomeness.

Sleep with one eye open, Queenslander.
