Where will your next road trip take you?

With winter around the corner it's time to start planning next seasons trips, right? It is dammit! What do you have planned for next year?
This season I really only took one good trip but it was a good one and satisfied my urges big time. See report ...
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=701959

I'm not sure whats in store for next year but I am thinking about heading to AZ in February possibly. The plan there would be to rent a dual sport and spend 3-4 days exploring.

For seasonal trips next year I want to spend some time south in WV, NC and TN. Also the UP and Wisconsin. I barely got my feet wet in Wisconsin this summer and feel the need for PIE.

So where do you want to go?

It's always good to dream of next years rides a bit.

I didn't get to do my Grand Tour this year, so maybe I can do that next year. Certainly I want to get to Triumphs in Taos again.

And for sure I would like to check out the Black Hills of South Dakota, and more of Colorado.

Also, more rustic roads in Wisconsin, over on the east side of the state.

I would love to go back to CO and UT and spend more time in those two states but that space between here and there...not sure I care to ride that part again anytime soon.

Yes- The Great Plains aren't that great by motorbike..... I may try to get down to NM again. Then again watching a friend scoot around Utah is giving me a real itch to get back there........ decisions decisions.

Ride4321 If you decide to visit the UP- give me a shout. Did my graduate research up there and know a few good PIE joints.

I was fortunate to get some nice road trips in this year around Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming and South Dakota. I'm in the planning stages now for a trip out to SoCal where my son is attending college. I will hopefully get to do this trip in early May traveling from Colorado into New Mexico and Arizona. Other trips I'm thinking about are more of Colorado, Wyoming and Utah for sure with perhaps a trip back up to the Black Hills....And of course Triumphs in Taos is definately on my calendar for this year...
