Any idea what it costs to ship TORs?

Hello all,

I am wanting to sell a set of TORs from my Thruxton, since I replaced them with Predators. Given the relative obscurity of the bike, and the fact that the new ones are fuel injected, I don't anticipate them going quickly if I try to sell them locally. Does anyone have any idea what it would cost to ship them? I really have no idea. Also, wasn't sure if this was the right place to ask this, since I'm not really posting them for sale yet. Thanks.

The USPS and UPS websites will both calculate postage for you based on dimensions of the box, from and to locations and weight of the package.

Be sure to advertise your TORs in our classifieds.

My experience suggests 30 to 40 bucks or so for something of that size and weight.

I just sent a pair of shorties for my thunderbird 1600 saturday as a matter of fact. Chose the cheapest USPS (use post office...it's always cheapest and usually fastest, no kidding) service which i think was first class mail and it was $23.69 including delivery confirmation for 19 Lbs. And get this....i have no idea why, but i checked the number this morning and it is already in florida and out for delivery this morning !!! I shipped from california ! I was blown away. even priority mail usually take a full 3 days. couldn't believe that.
