Formally owned? As opposed to 'informally owned,' where you don't bother with a title, or insurance.... Even if I did want to spend $18k on a used Harley, I'd be looking to buy from someone who knows how to spell. The word you're looking for is 'formerly.' Maybe if we chromed the "m."

I am always amazed at the kutzpa some sellers have asking such unbelievable sums for real pieces of junk. What's even more funny is how other people will buy it.
The asking price for the Hardley is as much as a new one almost. You could buy 2 Triumphs for that amount and pay your gas bill with the change. Some of the deals in our own classified section are much better values than an ebay junker/triumph bobber. Just saying. I do admit to selling a couple of dogs on ebay though. Shame.

That's what made the ad funny, Fast Eddie. There have been a few good condition, stock KZ1000s of similar vintage for sale for between $1,500 and $2,000 and the owners can't seem to sell them.

It makes you laugh because there are sellers that can't get $1,500 for a decent KZ1000 yet this guy think he's going to get $6,000 for one that's been ruined.

Yeah right. A guy at work has one of these things, same brand and cc. He paid $900 new a few years ago and they are selling them new for right around that price now. Surprisingly though he's been riding that thing daily for 3 years and it still runs pretty good. Cheap piece of crap really though. Where did the guy get that $7500 price?

I had to open another Negra Modelo just so that I could cry in my beer for that poor, mutilated Trump on e-Bay. The "Chopper" looks like one that I saw (darn it, no camera with me) that had a failure of the front forks and triple tree...just sort of "Melted down" in front of the store where the owner parked it...guess the triple tree failed and let the forks go...good thing it didn't happen on the street!
