New rubber on a well sorted Triumph

NB the new 3-1 exhaust, GB Racing protection kit, & solo seat cowl (along with pillion leg removal). The levers, mirrors & a tail tidy are next. Though they'll have to wait until I've spent a bit of money on my MX5. & I'm toying with the idea of putting risers & clip-ons on it, to give it a more Cafe look

She's looking very tidy Scratch...I look forward to seeing how the 'clipons' look

The yard looks a bit better too!!:D

Risers AND clipons? Couldn't you achieve the same result by bending the bar a bit?

The tail tidy would be my next priority. That's quite a ski jump they put on those things. Great looking bike already, though!

Looking great! Kinda making me with I went with a Street instead of my Daytona. But yeah, that mess that holds the license plate and blinkers was the first thing I got rid of on the Daytona, those things sure stick out there. Keep us updated and keep making me doubt my purchase o_O

It's parked on my septic tank, as the lawns too soft to support it. & yes, I carefully tested that it could support the weight, as the consequences of a failure don't bear thinking about.:D

OS. I have always been taught that if a septic tank is not leaking then grass grows thicker and greener there. I noticed that you have to drive through that bald, wet, slimy spot to park there. Do you ever wonder why you might need new tires so often?

Um that's the concrete lid. It's just covered in leaf litter. & the bike doesn't live there. I just parked it there so I could get some shots of it in the sunshine.

It's a coat hanger, & is actually against the wall of the house. It's usually covered in coats & jackets, but I put them inside for the cyclone & haven't put them back yet. The blue & white striped canvas, at the other end of the veranda, is covering my pool table, which survived the cyclone well. I like hanging out on my veranda (when there's not a cyclone).:D

The little + shows up next to someones name if you have made them a "friend", using that feature.

We still don't know what the benefit of the "friend" feature is.
But Scratches bike is very very nice.
well it must be coz T John and I are friends then , ta prop mystery solved.

the benefits are that the friend knows you appreciate there views
and input into the forum .Friends can help you in flame wars or to
meet at rallies or for rides, PIE , BEER, Fun times and may be willing to show you around if your in there part of the world.
Friends are great :Chopper:Chopper:Chopper:Chopper:Chopper:

Yeah friends are fab, but I don't know what the benefit of the little + is. Presumeably it just helps you see when they are online, so that you can stalk them and wierd them out and stuff.
Oh I know you meant the + ! i was being amusingly obtuse har ha hmmn.. like mods were unfamiliar with the concept of friendship sort of thing and you needed it clarified ...and then you would have to explain yes yes i know what friends are for Duh. and we would all have a bit of a chuckle .

im not quite sure what you mean by wierd them out but its bound to
be something devlish Im guessing. Not like in that Thomas Hardy book Red Dragon where he worked processing super 8 film and picked his victims from there home movies ? :D
