Travesty? Cool? Triumphs turned into "Choppers" and "Bobbers"
Personally, I'm in the "travesty" side of the argument. Chopping/bobbing motorcycles takes most of their functionality away and, at least in my mind, makes them look completely ridiculous. I never knew they did it to Triumphs before now though...

I'd ride that first on, on an occasional basis. The second is just silly. Really, really, gut-bustingly silly. I mean... no, words fail me.

To each their own ,but I'm definitely not a fan of those styles, taken to extremes like in those two pics. I like a couple of the bikes in the link.
Kenneth K's bike looks cool.

I like the first one. Wouldn't want to own it but a ride might be interesting.
The second one looks like a neck cramp in the making.

Different strokes I suppose. Not my thing but then it isn't my bike.
The first bike reminds me of a Harley I saw the other day, but with ape hangers that looked to be at least 2 feet high. I thought the bike looked ridiculous,...but then again, it isn't my bike so my opinion means squat.

Meh, most customs look like crap regardless of style (chopper, bobber, cafe, etc.). It's the owner's bike so they can choose to ruin it in whichever way suits them, I don't really care.

I'd like to see how that 2nd one could cope with a bulldust pan. Or an IED.

Or how about a 90-degree bend at slow speed?

If we all wanted the same thing, we wouldn't need all these different kinds of bikes, or all these accessories.

The first one is like a vintage pre war Triumph with more civilised controls. The tank looks stoopid though.
