Now obviously we all love bikes - namely Triumph bikes - but I'm sure there are more people on this site who love other motorized things as well. So just kind of curious does your choice in bike reflect in your choice of car?
So here's mine - I drive a Mazda RX8 - which I absolutely love. Not the fastest car in the world but it hugs the corners quite nicely.

Then of course the bike - '09 D675

I think they match quite nicely. Though I haven't gotten recent pictures of either of them, the Mazda now has tinted windows and the D675 now has fender eliminator kit. Now as far as my dad goes, I think he's got a matching combo as well. He's got an HD something-or-rather (who really knows what they're called when they all look the same) and a Shelby GT500. But don't hate my dad, he also has a Triumph :)

Well, of course there's the bikes, currently a pair of Triumphs and a little Honda - see sig line for that bit - but since you're asking about 'other' toys..

'08 BMW 335i
Amazing how much torque you can get from a pair of turbos, eh?
These shots are both at Sears Point, though we've also had her out to Laguna and Thunder Hill.

And an '01 Donzi 22 Classic. 502 Mag, Bravo I, M3 procharger, and a number of other mods. Best so far is a bit over 82 mph, although I suspect the current combo is good for 85 once dialed in. This was on Lake Powell a couple years ago.

And the Carver, an '89 32' Santigo that really doesn't get out all that much these days but does serve as an apartment in the city to help keep the 140 mile round-trip commute down to only a couple times a week.

Then there's the truck, an '05 Ram 1500 quad cab hemi, lowered a bit and bagged to still carry/tow/do truck stuff, 22" wheels, exhaust, intake, ecu tune.

I think that about covers it, at least until the job front sorts out a bit.:(

My latest project....91 Whaler, tonight was the 1st test run after i rebuilt engine and restored the rest after years of neglect. A little island hopping with the kids, great fun.
Very nice - Whalers are great! If I could handle the weight, I'd replace my 10' RIB and use a 13 Whaler as the tender for my Carver. I have to admit, last year I offered to trade my Adventurer for a 13 Whaler, but the guy didn't go for the deal.

I don't have any decent pics of my Ducati. I do have these pics, though.

Here's a older and very wet pic of my Bonneville:

Here's my GTi stuck in the snow:

Here's my '75 Corvette:

'04 Chevy Colorado, my current daily driver with 142k miles on it:

And the truck with my 16' enclosed trailer, which will fit 3 bikes comfortably:

'09 Pontiac G8, which will most likely move from toy car to daily driver within the next month or two:

And my project car, an '85 Pontiac Fiero choptop:

Sadly, the choptop is still in about that condition, although when I move in the next week or two I'll actually have space to be working on it and start making some progress :)

Naskie, I love Fieros. I had an 85 when I was younger. I've been thinking about picking up another Fiero and doing the V8 conversion to it and making it into a track tool.

My other toys are listed in my info

Dave-
Excellent! I love a good old-fashioned V8 pony car on the track. Something I can actually relate to like vintage Trans Am is far more interesting to me than faster 'better' formula stuff. And Road Atlanta is a great track, although I have to admit I haven't driven it since they reconfigured it several years ago.

Naskie-
I'm no fan of the General, but I have to say if I had to drive an American car for work or whatnot, the G8 would have been on the short list. Too bad they canned it - now everybody seems to think the G8 is some sort of collector's item. I've seen people asking $40K for them (!)

Haggis, a few of my buddies and I went on a cruise last year (one of two vacations I'd ever been on) and we rented a few hobie cats in the Bahamas. It was an absolute blast! One friend has a C&C 29 that we raced, but he's in pilot training right now, so we can't sail this summer.

As far as other toys, this is Dorthy... she's my baby.

How well she matches my other babies, I don't know, but they are the '04 Thruxton and the '10 S3

Followed by Quiet Dawn from 84 to 95. 44ft. twin engine Thompson trawler yacht. She carried us 30,000 ocean miles. Range 1200 miles with fuel for 48 hours more. She is shown here in Cayos Cochinos (hog islands), Honduras in the late 80s. She carried a Honda XL250S on deck.

1928 Ford Model A; 324 Olds Rocket, 4 deuces, 4 speed dual range Hydro, the real deal

Very cool! Are you running Rochester or Stromberg carbs? What radiator shell are you running? It looks like an early 20's T shell, but it could be a 30/31 A? Not sure from the angle, but it doesn't look like a 28/29. It goes well with the cowl lines.

I see your A-Bone and I'll raise you a T.:D

I built this a few years ago. 1927 Ford Model T "Phone Booth" coupe. I built a rectangular tube chassis "Z"d in the front. It had a Super Bell dropped straight axle up front with 1940 Ford brakes and a Mopar 8.75" rearend out back with coil-over springs, Watts Link 4-link setup, and 3.90:1 Sure-Grip gears. I machined the front and rear 4 links and Watts links along with the drag link and tie rods myself out of seamless tubing.

I built a very strong 327 cid small journal Chevy engine backed by a TH350 transmission with a high-stall torque converter. The engine had fuelie heads, stainless roller rocker arms, domed pistons, Pink rods, gear drive timing, high volume/pressure oil pump, a Weiand manifold, and a 600 cfm Holley carb.

I chopped the body 5 inches and channeled it 4 inches. It had a Deuce radiator shell, 1940 Dodge truck headlights, Ford steel wheels, and 1940 Mercury trim rings. It was drivable, and it was a bitchin car, but a gentleman in Arizona talked me into parting with it before I could finish doing everything I was planning. I wanted to put a 3 Deuce intake setup on it (actually had it built), change out the transmission to an M21 Muncie (still have everything needed), and put skinnier wheels in the front with some period tires all around. Oh well, next time.

My other toy; goes only as fast as I can "duckwalk" it in it's present condition. I'm finishing the engine overhaul as of this writing, with a pair of custom built expansion chambers coming within the week. I've been working on it for the last 10 months. ...........James.
