I went past the place with the Ranchero on my way to work...I saw it, but it's in his garage. If the garage door is open this afternoon I might try to take a covert picture, but I could see that going quite pear shaped as I don't actually know the guy.

Owners of Rancheros, El Caminos and other Truck/car mutations are traditionally liberal minded, friendly, and welcoming to strangers snooping around their garages when they're not home. Oh, and also, statistically very few are owners of firearms. Good luck with your pic, zel.

Oh, and I'm a 65 year young hooligan on a Street Triple.

If the Jeep version of the RAncher/El Camino/Brat/etc. counts then here ya go; a 1984 Jeep Scrambler.
If accepted, I'll be giving some thought to the next (global) challenge. If not -- nevermind

'tis the season
In keeping with the Christmas season (hope this is global) and copying the big rock challenge; how about your bike next to or in front of an inflatable Santa Claus that is bigger than your bike, at a private residence, not a commercial display. To make it a bit more challenging, YOU have to be standing as close as possible to the inflatable. (but don't piss off the owners) That means you will have to use a timer & tri-pod or get a friend to tag along and take the picture.

I don't even think my camera has a timer. I know I don't have a tripod, as I just sold my old Nikon 35mm with all that stuff last week having not used it in many years!
Now you're going to make me find/read the manual for my little digital, aren't you?
Cruel. Very cruel.
BTW, I did try for the local Ranchero but I didn't get home until after dark and his garage was closed up the next day. Bummer.

If you have a modern pocket digital or an SLR digital, chances are very high it has a timer. I've even seen some of the newer I-phones with timers on the camera feature. The inflatables should be abundant, so that part is easy. This one will test your creative photography skills if you don't have a buddy or significant other who is willing to tag along. Heck, you might even get to test your diplomatic skills and talk the owner of the inflatable into taking the picture.
FYI; Wal Mart carries some small tri-pods for under $15. Believe me, they make a huge difference in the quality and types of pictures you will shoot if you carry one with you everywhere you take your camera. I figured since this is not only a riding challenge but a photography challenge as well, this would up the ante a bit.

The horror! First you suggest I read the manual for my camera, then you suggest I shop at Wal-mart!
Then, on top of it all, you suggest I speak to a neighbor!
What kind of crazy are you???
