Don't shoot me because it's not a Triumph. I traded my old 89 Goldwing for this. It's a 1993 Yamaha GTS1000A. The one with the James Parker double wishbone front suspension, ABS brakes & EFI. From what I can gather from forums there are only 250, 93's left on the road in the US.

Sweet! Great bike - always thought they were cool. Would love to ride one and see what the front suspension feels like.

Very cool! I would have bought it too, if I had the chance. Now you need to update your profile. Enjoy!

Not when there's so many other reasons!
Congrats on a very cool bike!
I enjoyed seeing it at Bike Night, but only wished they had the parking lot lights operational so I could see it better.
Sure had a nice sound to it and it looked fast sitting still.
So, what are you going to name it?

Yet another bike built before its time A mate of mine(now deceased, not bike related) had one and reckoned the handling was superb Keep an eye on the front disc as ther`re expensive... if you can get one that is
Enjoy

I always liked the looks of the bike. However, I've only seen one in person. Still liked it that way too.

As an admirer of the rare, the bizarre, and the different (reminds me of my marriage) the bike gets a big thumbs up on all three counts.
I never knew these things even existed, and if I saw one parked I would be full of questions. Ride report please, there is a few of us wondering how they handle and ride.
If you are correct, and there is only a couple of hundred of them about, I have to ask the question, investment? Curiosity? You just wanted one? Or an offer you couldn't refuse?

The main reason as to why there are so few about, could have something to do with the fact that, when new, the cost, at least in the UK, was £10,000!!!! This was in the early 90's, when that sort of money got you a top of the range BMW with every extra. The Yamaha had chain drive, and factory panniers weren't even an option! That's not to say it was a bad bike, just expensive, and poorly equipped compared to the opposition.
