100+ vintage machines go under the hammer

From another forum, imagine the dedication it took to collect these, not to mention the money

A PRIVATE Spanish collection of over 100 vintage motorcycles, spanning almost 100 years of motorcycle development, is to go up for auction in England next month.

World renowned Bonhams auctioneers are selling off the eclectic collection of machines; a Brough Superior SS100 (pictured), valued at between £100,000 - £120,000, is one of the main attractions at the event.

The sale takes place on 27 February 2010 at RAF Museum, Hendon.

A matchless model H would be nice. Some fine bikes in that list. I see Brough Superiors are holding their value.

I saw 3 of those Harley's at the "Wheels in Time" museum in NC, when I was down there last year. And they even fired 1 up, cool.

A wealthy Texan lawyer, who had a car collection bigger than Lenos, died late last year (in a car crash, of course). Leaving no will or heirs. It's estimated that if his entire 800 vehicle collection is sold at once. It will depress the global classic car market by 40%
