Howdy doodly, neighbourinies. Sorry for my prolonged absence from the forum, have been a bit busy, but I am back and promise to try harder. Will you still be my friends?

Dave's on the mend, he's out of plaster now and has just got off crutches, now starting to bear weight through his foot. He is still off work, hoping to go back soon because he's bored, but we have a difference of opinion as to whether he's ready to go back to work! He's a civil engineer, does lots of heavy construction work and 8 hours on a cold construction site on his feet all day wouldn't be condusive to foot repair, me thinks. He has not got his full range of movement back in his wrist and won't but, given the injury he had, he is lucky to have any movement at all.

Did you ever get anywhere with doing the guy that caused the accident in the first place or the track for letting the Prick on there in the first place?

It's in the hands of solicitors who are pursuing the organisers for compensation. As for the prick on the R1, we can't pursue him because he won't have the money to pay. However, if he continues to ride like a tit, he'll get what's coming to him one way or another. Would you believe he's a school teacher? I wouldn't want someone that irresponsible, rude and ignorant teaching my kids, if I had any, that is.
