Number of Bikes for Sale on ebay.
Did a search this morning, here are the results. Listed in order from largest to smallest numbers for sale. Interesting!
1. 2035 Harleys
2. 1049 Hondas
3. 684 Yamahas
4. 601 Suzukis
5. 592 Kawasakis
6. 147 BMWs
7. 113 Ducatis
8. 111 Triumphs.

So would I, although I don't remember ever seeing Harley lose the #1 spot in that particular race. I've seen Honda closer than 50%, but never first.

I went through several bikes of each brand and the Harleys had fewer bids than the other brands maybe because the opening bids were to high? Alot were not reaching the reserve, Some 06s 07s that actually sold were selling for half the new cost, sportsters are really cheap, times are tough right now for some folks.
From the bikes listed i was surprised that so few Triumphs were on there i expected more...any ideas?

Compare number of significant others and triumph bikes. My bike doesn't cost me as much as the wife does on a weekly basis.

Ditto on that.
Could it be that Triumph owners are more dedicated to keeping their bike? Perhaps the fact that Triumphs are economical enough that you don't dig as deep a financial hole when buying one.

Funny comments overkill, considering the 'bike is the other woman' campaign that Triumph ran a few years ago...
