Grumpy??
I was going to post on the "Grumpy" thread, but found that
it was closed as a political thread. What a metamorphosis.
Anyhow, I got my seat back from the upholsterer and rode
60 miles last Fri, rained over the weekend, but rode another
93 miles Tues, and about 30 miles running errands Wed so
I have the grumpometer back in the normal range. I was
getting tense because we set a record for consecutive
days that the low temp was below freezing. Before the flames
start, I know you people up there set consecutive day
records for days with High temps below freezing, but that's
why I'm down here. Last year, on Jan 5, I was rieing in 78F,
hence my angst this year.

Sorry I cannot post pic of seat. I currently do not
have hardware to take digital pics and don't have
pics I can scan yet. I can feel your pain. Spent most
of adult life in Ohio with Sta-bil in the fuel tank and
just living for spring. I never could get into ice racing.

Just pending poll/discussion...
I got in about 50 or 60 on Monday. It's snowed every day since.
Actually, it's really pretty, and I'd miss it if we had a winter with no snow. The schools got out early today, and my employer sent everyone home early too.

Can you post pics of your snow? (If you have already and I just missed it somehow, forgive me. I have not been able to read every thread!)

I am so glad you asked. If you hadn't, I never would have gotten this picture:
I'm not quite sure what you want to see, so here's a variety pack.
The river in the background (below) is the Rio Grande. This is a mile from my house. The cactus is called a staghorn cholla.

Those pics are awesome! I actually squealed when I saw the coyote! I love coyotes! They are incredible to watch.
I love the desert, too. I've spent some time out west in Arizona and California deserts. It's magical.
Thanks, so much for taking the time to get and post those wonderful pics.

Would you say I'm violent or grumpy when I kick a car next to me at a stop light that is trying to squeeze past me and pass me when the light turns green?
(ie.. its dangerous what they are doing and they are endangering me so they can get someplace .02 seconds faster because they only moved up 1 space in traffic)
P.S. Great pics.

Awesome pictures. Didn't know it snowed so far down in the states. Is this a freak phenomenon or does it snow every year?
Snows here every year.
