Any readers from Mass-a-choo-setts?

Just wondering about the political wind blowing up that way today?
Anyone care to venture a guess on the outcome of the "Ted" seat up for grabs? Just curious... thats all

Obama is getting a wake up call and his support is more like the mark of death. Kennedy's strong hold has been greased and most likely lost. Eventually people wake up and realize that if it looks, smells, feels like crap ......most likely it is. The one term senator is not well suited for his position and a lot of people who voted for him are now jumping ship. I think it is time for a Tea party.....

Blaming Obama for our economic and political disasters is like blaming Captain Sullenberger for getting the plane wet.

Where were the teabaggers while Bush ransacked the surplus and ran up the deficit?

This will be easy to see over the next six months let us see how many dems fall to the wayside......it has already started....especially if Kennedy's seat is lost. This will be a Huge.....lost for dems....

I'm not sure I understand how one senate election in one small (apologies) state is a referendum on a whole party or the President? Can someone explain? Precedent?

If they celebrate becoming a 59-41 minority just because they can then filibuster it will only show they live only to obstruct. In a strange way, I almost wish McCain had won and inherited the mess his do-nothing, let the wealthy run wild party caused with their negligence and phony oil war. Of course, the stress of that may have killed him by now .

Two gubernatorial seats...and a senate seat to date...if they lose the seat in Mass. it could be enough to stop socialized medicine....but we can wait and see.....I am not in a hurrry.

I think by now President Obama realizes empty promises and socialism is not going to stop his sliding popularity......

Socialized medicine?

The Senate bill is a lot of bad things, but socialized medicine it isn't. In fact, that's the problem with it.

The Senate is tying itself in knots to prevent the socialization of health care administration (not medicine itself--that's off the table) and ensure that we get "reform" without fundamentally changing anything. It's like expecting Captain Sullenberger to take off from the Hudson, since he landed on it.
