My girlfriend is a new rider and she's getting into researching photos of vintage bikes and the women that raced / rode them.

Does anyone have any idea where she can research vintage photos of women riding / racing motorcycles?

Pre 1950's...

She has fallen in love with this image:

Any help in her research is appreciated, we've tried the BMW History Archives but it requires specific search terms... "woman" turned up nothing.

Must of played merry hell with her hairdo! The wind resistance would probably put her a gear down on the uphill sections.

I 'm not sure but I think that's probably Anke-Eve Goldman who was a racer of BMW's and a reporter in the 1950's. I think she is really super cool and like your GF, I am facinated by her.
