Are there any on this forum?
Will they come away with the silver hardware this year?
Will Nani just go away?
Will Owens score 20 goals?
Will Owen Hargreave ever play again? (He's from Calgary)

I wish I was that fat! I'm as a fat as William "Fatty" Foulkes.
Rooney is great. I would like to see him paired with a fit Owens.
And find some players to feed the ball to them. Get rid of Nani - find someone who can pass the ball - Obertan's got promise. Evra is great - one of the hardest working players. Hargreaves should be able to help when he comes back.

I've said it before but Money killed Football. That team with Manchester United shirts? Fug all to do with Manchester. As are the Supposed Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool etc etc. They are just teams made up of international overpaid allstar, prima donnas. Nope I'm fed up with football here.
(and that's only partly because I have the misfortune to support Ipswich!  )
Ok feel free to discuss the merits of the Allstars United based in Manchester.

That's a big part of why I have no interest in most team sports. They are just hired guns. It's a budget battle more than a local sports team. Meh. 
Of course, even if they found a way to make them true local teams, I still probably wouldn't give a darn about football, football, baseball, basketball, rugby... Why pin your happiness to the abilities of a bunch of people you've never met, striving to an outcome that fundamentally doesn't matter?

So I suppose no players on United's first or reserve team came up through the ranks, or are not from towns or cities nearby?
I bet United has more local and home grown talent than most other premier league teams.
I'll make a list tomorrow! Gotta go to bed now LOL
Here's a start -
Beckham, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Gary and Phil Neville, Paul Scholes, Wes Brown, Danny Welbeck all came through the ranks, having played for United as youngsters. BTW how old was George Best when he signed up for United?
