Tonight I am mostly been drinking Waggledance

Following on from the English Ale thread:

I've just road back into London from the Pied Bull (Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club meeting) in the small Kentish village of Farningham, where I limited myself to two pints of Green King IPA (on a full stomach) but now I'm sitting down at home I'm drinking Waggledance.

I only scraped a peg once on the ride back, when I got the second part of a very tightly winding corner of the last bend in a short three bend sequence a bit wrong - I know some may frown but 'I'd rather live one day...' - and did avoid killing several badgers and a cat.

I find cats more of a problem to miss as badgers tend to scuttle off in a predictable fashion where as cats leap around haphazardly in dangerous confusion, having been surprised from their murderous prowling in pitch darkness by exposure in the blazing Xenon light of a (to the feline) pouncing, roaring Bonneville.

I have, in fact, only ever run over one cat, with a Mk1 Ford Capri, and that was my own moggy (Scud) who was carelessly wandering around our car park. That cost me a midnight trip to a vets and a bag of prawns from an all night take-away.

Just thought you'd like to know it's been a good night with good people and laughter in Triumph Land, SE London/Kent.

Now: Pedigree? Spitfire? Black Sheep? Abbot? Hmm Black Sheep!

Oh fine fellow! Not only a fine choice of ales, but a blast from the past in the form of Jesses Diets from the Fast Show!

(This week, I are been mostly eating roasted chickens - as I recall his fashion statements were similar).

Waggledance is Excellent, and if it were me, I would move on to some fine Marstons Pedigree.

Have at it my good man!

This seems like an appropriate place to mention that I'm sh*tbrick drunk.

As promised, I'm still in my robe and, yes, still staring at those bug-eye lights.

And that post I made promising to never post while drinking, again? Yeah, well...here we are.

Awake again (I assume Massive Attack is now asleep) gray windy day, large mug of tea.

Hang the expense, I'm off to the cafe for a No.1 breakfast.

BHO could be improved if you were only allowed to post drunk, I think. All those posts make a darn sight more sense and are about far more important things (beer, food) than all the other rot we go on about...

The problem with that policy is that some people (I'm told) occasionally post from work, so they'd be excluded - unless they are members of congress....
