Unhappy Oink Oink

Well the dreaded H1N1 has hit the Nickwiz household. Royaly messed up the celebration of my Brothers 40th and left Mr Nickwiz feeling seriously grim. Still alive so far though. So if they offer it to you I'd get the jab. You certainly don't want to feel like this if it can be avoided I can tell you.

Ohh, Nick. Sorry to hear it. I recommend plenty of rest, warm tea with honey and wiskey (emphasis on the wiskey), warm blankets and sweat it out.

Get some good movies going and drift in and out.

Take care.

It hit me hard and fast, filling my lungs with some horrible goo, and keeping me out of work for a week. I have been taking breathing treatments for a month and still have problems. My students are calling me lame-o because I haven't ridden my motorbike in a while.

Get the vaccine if you can...

and don't kiss Mrs Nickwiz - unless of course she gave it to you!

Rest up and get well soon.

I'm germ-free at present thankyou very much and am keeping MrNickwiz at a very long arms-length. I'm not 100% convinced it's swine flu yet, may just be a very bad case of seasonal flu or even the more fatal man-flu .

Poor chap though, he's feeling very rotton and miserable. I'm doing my best to look after him and have left the dog in charge of him today with orders to keep him warm and cheer him up.

There'll be trouble if I get it!

I hope he starts feeling better soon, I notice on the thread about getting the shot you were both proponents for it, (if it had been available to you). So that's tough that it seems to have hit one of you.

Either Nick has swine 'flu or he's telling porkies to get some TLC !
