When I got my cat from the Humane Society, I named him Setzer.
You know, Brian Setzer...cause he's a Stray Cat.

We had an old stray living in our student digs years ago. He was a lumpy old black thing that had a penchent for attacking your nads if you sat with your legs apart. We called him Lemmy after the lumpy old geezer who headed up Motorhead. He got run over by the labour party canvassing car during the 1992 general election.

How much duck tape did it take to hold him down in the street in front of that car?
I was going to joke that I knew a girl like that once, but sadly, I never have.

I never even knew Lemmy was into politics!
I suspect a cat, if you get another, will suggest a name itself, in a manner of speaking. We will need pics, front, rear, side-on. We could call the thread a "Cat-tion contest".

I have a buddy who named his cat Giacomo.
When the old lady brought home the third cat (stray kitten from a lady she worked with) I suggested we name her after a motorcycle racer.
We ended up naming her Valentina Hayden.
The name fits, she is very quick and can carve corners though the house like a pro.

Eighteen years ago, we decided to buy a Chinchilla Persian (like the Fancy Feast cat). A prominent show breeder had a male/female pair, so we went to look at them. I liked the female slightly better, while my wife preferred the male. After considerable deliberation, we had decided to take the female when the breeder offered us the pair for only a little bit more. We subsequently registered the female as "Silver Dollar" and the male as "For a Few Dollars More".

Sorry to hear about the moggy. Ours is watched constantly now, 21 yrs old and various problems but still jumping around. People think she's a kitten.
Called "Spot", seeing as she's completely black. The animal home we got her from made us choose a name for some reason, when filling in the form, so I said 'Spot', thought'd we'd sort something out later.
Our other cat was called Ceefer as in C for ...

Just wondering if your vet checked the cat for fecal/furball impaction.
We just went thru a similiar problem with one of our cats and he was found to have a condition called 'mega-colon'.
Poor cat went thru 5 days in the vets getting kitty sized ememas to flush him out. We end up having major surgery to save him.
Regards,
Gerry
