Taken in about 1960 as my old man was doing interstate in about a 58 model Leyland Comet (I think it was a Comet), top speed around 48 mph. This was taken "floating" the truck and semi trailer loaded off picnic point hill.
I am claiming it as a world land speed record for a Leyland Comet. Must be damn near 90 mph.
Heh, not only was he doing it, he had to grab the box brownie camera and get a photo of it while he was doing it.
