Who's going to buy a BUELL?

With the demise of the company, I can only assume that prices will hit rock bottom.. who will be buying one?

I Love the look of the CR

Sorry Buell. If I had $5,000 in my pocket, I'd buy the cherry '69 TR6R for sale at my local vintage shop.

Try before you buy a buell - they ride hot and its not a smooth ride. They reek of a bike pushed into the market whereas it would have benefitted from another few months in R&D

The Harley dealer is putting ads everywhere coaxing people with sale prices and the notion that ,...it's now or never

Not for me though. I have a feeling that Buell is the first step in a big (continued) downturn for Harley, so I wouldn't go near them, even if I were interested.

I don't mind Harleys though. I don't think I would own one but then I wouldn't own a Ninja either,...nothing wrong with them.

As bad for Buell as it is, I am happy Triumph diversified it's line of bikes to suit just about anyone without spreading themselves thin.

I think Harley took the shortcut route of trying to cater to a younger demographic with Buell but failed. Like mixing Budweiser with lemonade.
