I won't eat that carrot!
Not that I give a crap about Democrats or Republicans, but when it comes to speaking the truth about health care reform, this guy hits the nail on the head.

Nice speech. Assured, authoritative, backed with statistics. Impregnable. Inarguable.... well... no, actually.
If the US health system is so good, why does the US rank 35th, behind such socialist nightmare administrations as the UK, France et al in life expectancy? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ife_expectancy

Well that is a pretty interesting list. At the begining it says: "The figures reflect the quality of health-care in the countries listed as well as other factors including ongoing wars and HIV/AIDS infections"
That list doesn't really seem to focus on quality of health-care, just an overall view of life expectancy in general.
Is there a list that compares actual: health-care availability, quality, variety, capability, talent, success rates, etc. while leaving out all the political mumbo jumbo?
I think we probably already have the best of everything available. The government is out of control... correction: The government has waaay too much control already. Now they (yes that "they") see an opportunity to gain even more control and are trying to scare people into acceptance.
I posted the video because, to me, it is good to see at least one person in congress speak up against the B.S.

Liberals love the possibility that government will be able to further control another aspect of their lives...they cannot or will not try to better themselves on their own...they need big government to tell them what to do.
The, "BTW" was sarcasm...nowadays anyone who disagrees with OweBama is called a "racist".

I believe there was a study done several years ago that took the data from the UN Reports for the years something like 1990 - 2000. When you factor out deaths that were not from natural causes the US life expectancy was number 1. However, the fact that we have so many deaths from auto wrecks, murder, suicide does not speak well for society either. I don't think the problem in this country is related to health care. We are what we eat which is why obesity is such a rampant problem in this country. A person that has a heart attack because they are morbidly obese will probably not survive no matter how good the health care is. Odd's are they will never make to the hospital to receive care.
The Senator is right, we are trying to fix something that is not broke. We could achieve improved coverage without spending a Trillion dollars. Give or take a few billions.
On a side note.
Now we have Harry Reid giving his reason why Tort reform won't save any money.
"He talked about CBO saying that there would be $54 billion saved each year if we put caps on medical malpractice and put some restrictions — tort reform — $54 billion. Sounds like a lot of money, doesnt it, Mr. President? The answer is yes. But remember, were talking about $2 trillion, $54 billion compared to $2 trillion. You can do the math. We can all do the math. Its a very small percent."
Wait.............2 TRILLON!!!! I thought it would be under 1 Trillion..............

Mr Rogers
He's so full of BS that it's coming out his ears.
His disingenuous little rant proves that he understands nothing about health care, fails to understand history, and prefers to obfuscate and divert rather than address the issues. Notice how he tries to set the (semi)insured population against the uninsured, a classic divide-and-conquer tactic to divert attention from the real problem.
