Interstate Warriors: Music suggestion

Lately I've been in love with ELO's "Mr. Blue Sky."

Bonus: You've had a shart day/night, but you get to open your bike on the interstate during the final 'choral' bit.

If there's a better affirmation of life, please post it.

/Jesus, the noise of a Triple passing a line of trucks...

My wife recently discovered the Herbaliser Band session 1 & 2 while CD shopping at our local used music store. A great listen if you enjoy funk & rhythm. I also like Leela James. Guess I am into funky happy music when I ride.

Keep on riding.

P.S. - My T-bird seems to purr more contently each time British music is played in my helmut.

Cool

I like Vivaldi's "Four Seasons", for some great driving/riding tunes.

Oscillating RPMs is Music to My Ears

I oscillate on the interstates. I don't go more than a couple miles at a steady rpm. My choices are (1) Accelerate (2) Go Faster (3) Slow Down as a Last Resort. I prefer to listen to the growl of my 1200; just one of the reasons I don't ride at a steady pace.

I have listened to my Zune a couple times. When listening to LA Woman (Doors) I found myself crossing 110 mph during the jam at the end of the song. That song was made for a flat stretch in central Iowa.

Anything by Mark Knopfler gets me going fast(er). My favorite MK album for riding is Sailing to Philadelphia.

Get Yer Ya Ya's Out is a blast to ride to as well. That'd be an early 70's live album by The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World, The Rolling Stones. Street Fighting Man helps me get in touch with my Inner Aggressor.

My favorite sound remains the motor and wind.

Rammstein - Benzin

When the mood is right it works perfect with the growl of my S3.

The above sounds and my exhaust are the only tunes I use on my bike.

Listening to mp3's,radio's etc. can break your concentration that is needed to stay alive...
