Lee, by the time you're reading this, you should be having some beautiful weather. It's been a perfect day down here..........so I'm sending it up your way. More rain on it's way though, I fear.

Thanks I took the wife up to Bangor to Hollywood slots. I figured if I can't ride I could at least have some fun. We actually saw the sun peak out for about 10 minutes and then it disapeared.... :

My sister inlaw lives in Texas...I have actually discussed New Mexico with the Mrs. as a possible location when we retire. Hide's photos are so nice it just seems like a real good spot.

New Mexico is a beautiful state. I love the Ruidoso area. I don't know much about the driving & riding laws there though. I had a car when I was stationed in Clovis but didn't pay too much attention to the local laws! I imagine our winter lasts about as long as the riding season does up there in Maine. Kind of a flip-flop. Maine looks beautiful too, but the cold season is too long for me....

Amen to that!
My friends and I decided we were going to ride no matter what yesterday. Miraculously, we were able to get 120 miles in before the rain came down by the bucket....
But everything turned out well. Good friends, nice ride and great food. It don't get no better....

Hog it is kind of funny because I remember a couple of years back Mass. posted an article on the 10% reduction in motorcycle fatalities. They attributed it to biker education, but strangly enough the total reduction in fatalities were in the month of June. It turns out that June was the rainiest in many years. It was not education but the fact that no one was riding.
Think dry thoughts!
