Best songs to ride your bike to...?

I know Michael died today, so we can add him to the list...

But I wanted to make a playlist on my iPod for long rides. It's nice to hear some music to go with a long ride and great scenery.

So far I thought Allman Brothers "Ramblin' Man", The Eagles "Take It Easy", and Doobie Brothers "Long Train Runnin", and a few others

Stuff like this would be awesome. Ideas??????????

Music

Cruising:
Anything by Clutch, Radiohead, Faith No More, SRV, Satriani, and Paul Gilbert.

Testing speed limits:
Ministry, KMFDM, Infectious Grooves, anything really driving.

Sleepy time in nappyville:
Pink Floyd, gets me every time dunno how many time I bounced my head off things passing out listening to them. My brother has the same affliction cant listen to Floyd without passing out.

If you are "gettin' down" in the twisties, then Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone" (from Top Gun) is what you want.

Revvin' up your engine
Listen to her howlin' roar
Metal under tension
Beggin' you to touch and go

Highway to the Danger Zone
Ride into the Danger Zone

Headin' into twilight
Spreadin' out her wings tonight
She got you jumpin' off the track
And shovin' into overdrive

Highway to the Danger Zone
I'll take you
Right into the Danger Zone

You'll never say hello to you
Until you get it on the red line overload
You'll never know what you can do
Until you get it up as high as you can go

Out along the edges
Always where I burn to be
The further on the edge
The hotter the intensity

Highway to the Danger Zone
Gonna take you
Right into the Danger Zone

Highway to the Danger Zone

Life is a Highway, the Rascal Flats version
Red Barchetta, by Rush. Most Rush, actually.
Get Over It, the best song the Eagles ever did

RIDING IN THE TT RACES
(Gifford Cliffe)

George Formby

If there’s one thing that I like, it's riding around on a motor-bike
I'm a speed king, when I once begin.
I once won first prize two and six, I know all the dirt track dirty tricks
I'm a marvel when I'm out to win.
In a fifty mile race I am the best, I ride five miles and skid the rest.

So come along and see me riding in the T.T. races
Easier than hop scotch, beating all the top notch aces.
I've been riding all my life, I started quite small.
I've ridden fairy cycles, aye, and scooters and all.
Hear the people cheer me when they see me steering backwards.
Down the hill I go at break-neck speed,
See me coming down the street with the winning post on the pillion seat.
Oh! Come along and see me riding in the T.T. race

Come along and see me riding in the T.T. races.
Easier than hop scotch, beating all the top notch aces.
Once my bike was hard to ride, but I didn't mind,
Until I found they'd hitched a charabanc on behind.
Everybody's scaring, I am such a daring rider.
My inside rattles when I go the pace.
My ribs begin to shake about, there's all my spare parts sticking out.
So come along and see me riding in the T.T. race.

Alternative ending:
With my gears in reverse, the other way round I'll finish first,
Oh! Come along and see me riding in the T.T. race.

Icicle Works
Motorcycle Rider lyrics

(McNabb)

I've seen the moonlit lake,
The brown leaves blown across the way,
I've seen the icy black November,
I've seen the meadow & the stoplight up in front of me,
I've seen some things I can't remember...

I'm a motorcycle rider that's what I am,
I'm a motorcycle rider

I've seen the beauty of the open plain, the wide terrain,
I've seen some pretty girls thru' visors
I've seen my way across six thousand miles of toll-free road,
N' every journey put me wiser...
All along the valley wall,
The white lines and the freeway,
There my lover calls to me above the engine roar...
or

Dumpys version of

If there's one thing that I like
It's a burn up on my bike
A burn up with a bird up on my bike
Now the M1 ain't much fun
Till you try and do a ton
A burn up on my bike, that's what I like

Just for kicks, I ride all through the night
My bird hangs on in fright
When I do the ton for kicks

When my bird decides to turn up
I'm off to have a burn up
A burn up with a bird up on my bike
When I pass a little scooter
I blast him with my hooter
A burn up on my bike, that's what I like

Just for kicks, I ride all through the night
My bird hangs on in fright
When I do the ton for kicks

We meet the other ton-up boys at the White Swan every night
We just drop in to see the birds and sometimes have a bite
We spend a couple of hours just tunin' our machines
With our black leather jackets and our oily greasy jeans

If there's one thing that I like
It's a burn up on my bike
A burn up with a bird up on my bike
Now the M1 ain't much fun
Till you try and do a ton
A burn up on my bike, that's what I like

Just for kicks, I ride all through the night
My bird hangs on in fright
When I do the ton for kicks

Just for kicks, I ride all through the night
My bird hangs on in fright
When I do the ton for kicks

Those three are good for hollering out over the wind noise when the road is too long and straight.
