Ambulance experience

I was stopped by an ambulance yesterday in the centre of town.
I was just parking the red Thrux and this guy in green paramedic gear is running towards me. First thought - s..t have I hit an elderly person or caused someone to have an accident or worse...
Before I can take my helmet off he is holding up an A4 sheet of paper - I thought is this an image of an incident and wants to check if I know anything.

But the image was an 09 Black Bonneville.

He says...we heard you coming, we heard you loud and clear next to us at the lights and we heard you going and I just had to stop and get your view on the Black Bonnie as I am thinking of getting one.

Problem is the earliest is three weeks delivery and I rode it for an hour the other day and well I want one. Any thoughts on problems or issues?

After giving him the lowdown that he would be buying at the peak of the bike's evolution, and a reference to this site he shot off and I think he was going to call the dealer and get that order in.

Not before he complimented me on my Union Jack head and face tube thing. We both quickly agreed we are imperialists and there was an immediate meeting of minds.

A good day when you know you have helped notch up another Triumph sale and that another former bonnie owner is getting back into the groove and rediscovering that essential attitude

Wait a minute! I do not think that qualifies as a community service......to be a community service it would have to be a Rocket recommendation.
