Two pints probably saved me...

Last Friday after work my wife and I rode about 50 miles to the river front to have dinner and see a live band...

We got there around 7:00pm...I had a Redbull before I left home...1 1/2 iced teas with dinner...and two pints at the show...( two pints in four hours = not drunk )

Well...we left around the witching hour and the temp had dropped enough to call it chilly on the bike...

As we were riding home we rode up on a large box truck trying to pass a 18 wheeler...it was taking this guy FOREVER to try and pass...he finally gave up...got back in the right lane and I passed them both...

The combo of fluid intake and it being cooler got to me and we took an exit so I could go to to the bathroom...

Not five miles after we re-entered the highway we came up on a major accident...the police and paramedics were just arriving on the scene... ...The box truck we had just passed was flipped over on its side taking up both lanes and two other vehicles were involved...it looked bad...

Are you saying then that it was nothing to do with another cunning plan you had hatched to make life a misery for the tailgater and that you just had to take that exit to get it all down on paper?

Saved!

An old Moorish saying, "May the breath of Allah be always upon your lips"
And, my friend, Allah or your guardian angel was surely on your shoulders that night..........
Glad to hear you are both okay...might have been a whole different set of circumstances had your bladder been larger, or something like that.....

So wouldn't iced tea have accomplished the same thing?
