Greetings from a national disaster.

Here we have different local views from four days ago when a major ice storm knocked out power to over a half million homes in Ky., and one week ago when I was riding. There have been some deaths from Co poisoning and lots of misery and somehow I just can't complain about how winter is not letting me ride. Fortunately, things are improving. Can Spring and Derby Day be very far away?

Do you drink Mint Juleps in the winter?

It'll all be over soon. Unless Punxsutawney Phil is right.

Mint Juleps are only drunk on the first Sat. of May, and then we get back to normal bourbon.

So maybe if you all drank one, the weather would take the hint!

I live in Massachusetts and ya'll may remember that the Northeast suffered the same thing. I work for Comcast (cable co) and it took us a long to to recuperate.

"Our side" of the mountain was beautiful and sunny but here you can see the distinct line of where the damage was.

And here me and my co-workers are working to get our customers back up and running...

Those are some cold icy pics there Hog. Here are some happy Spring time shots of very green crab-grass just to remind us. Guess I could use a good mint julep right about now.
