What were those lyrics again?

And now, the stocal vylings of Joe Cocker.

This is why I'm glad I wasn't around in the 60s.

Never realized those lyrics were so meaningful --Wonder bread, turbines--it is all so clear now.

Of course in Cub Scout backwards language he was known as Cock Joker. Maybe that explains it.

Ahh, yes, the '60s, sex, drugs, and rock and roll.

And I chose this decade to be my responsible period.

Silly me. Clyde

I would have expected lyrics like that from Belushi messing with him on SNL, way back in the day

But if you were around in the 60s... Joe Cocker was the BEST.

Keep in mind he's been completely cured of heroin addiction.......... 3 times.

I was there in 1969 to watch that performance and understood every word of it........ same goes for the performance of Janis Joplin. Well, at least I thought I understood him. There's so much I don't remember about that weekend at Max's farm!

Trouble with motorcycles

The next year I was on my way back to England from the continent on an old BSA to go to Isle of Wyte festival which was Hendrix's last. The clutch gave up so we had to stop in London missed the show. He OD'd a few days later but at least I saw him at Cobo in Detroit years earlier.
