Credit Crunch hits the House of Windsor

Hi all,
Having just returned from London I was shocked to see Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth riding about on a horse and cart.
I would have thought that someone in her social standing would be able to afford a car, obviously the current credit crunch has hit the House of Windsor quite hard. ;0)

The ole girl is an avid horse lover and a resourceful gal. I'll bet 10 to 1 odds they name an aircraft carrier after her some day or maybe even a ship..lol

...and I heard that the Queen had to send her corgi dogs to the pound as the official Royal dog food suppliers Pedigree Chum have gone into voluntary liquidation.

Management said they had no option but to call in the "retrievers"

Just before they all disappear - could they kindly sign over the deeds to at least one house to me?

I wouldn't miss them a bit.

Tabloids might though

It is also reported in The UK Telegraph that the Queen has told her close Family members not to be seen to be living a lavish lifestyle during these difficult financial times, E.G. partying & other expensive pastimes.

That'll be alright then, they'll be suffering alongside us then
