Winter road film on visors

For us European riders it`s a real pain this time of year when the roads never seem to dry out and you get that horrible layer of grime on your visor (and everything else). You cant just wipe it as it just smears and makes visibility even worse. How do you deal with it, or do you just put up with impaired vision?

Mark, I remember a little finger squeegee thingy you could put on your finger that worked pretty well for me. I don't have it any longer though. Try "Dennis Kirk" catalog they may have it listed.

Cheers

A buddy of mine swears by WD-40..but i found PLEXUS plastic cleaner to be the best cleaner for me. It comes in two sizes large and small ,i keep a clean rag and the small can with me all the time. http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/frames.html

I use Protect All it has carnauba wax in it that does a good job beading the water off the visor. The wax also helps to protect the visor when you wipe off road grime.

I carry a small can and several clean rags in my panier's.
