I am 6' tall and started out with the roadster screen from triumph and had the same issues. The screen is way too small. I, too, switched it out for the largest of the screens from Clearview and am in love with it. Better quality than the triumph, much better size, etc... Also a little thicker than the triumph and a better screen all the way around. But you must alread have the roadster hardware in order to use the Clearview screen. They are made as replacement screens with the assumption that you already have the hardware.
Clearview screen, TOR pipes, AI removed, rejetted, light bar, iso grips, kuryakyn mirrors, chromed out, tach, saddleman bags and trunk (permanently attached - throw-over yoke rmoved), corbin saddle, bonneville performance oil pressure gauge, Added two rear light, (tail and brake)..........
