19 Tooth Front Sprocket

I've got my 07 T-100 apart for maintenance and replacing sprockets and chain.
After reading so many posts with people happy having bumping the front sprocket up to a 19 tooth, I'm on board. Question, will I need to add an additional link to the chain for adjustment purposes?

Thanks in advance

I put a 19 tooth front on some time back. Absolutely no problem with chain length.

You will notice a drop in off the mark acceleration and maybe be on the clutch a bit more in traffic. On the open road though it's great. Can't remember the exact figures but about a 300 RPM drop at 100k. A mate with an identical setup engine, exhaust etc but 18 tooth front has a slightly higher fuel consumption on long trips than I do.

There's a very recent thread on the merits of the 19 tooth sprocket in the Biker Hang Out section of the General category. Well worth reading.
It includes addressing the effect on engine rpm's in detail if that's of interest.
I switched from an 18 tooth to a 19 inch sprocket when the chain had about 4k miles on it and the installation went fine without requiring any change in the chain length.
