Hi - I'm helping a friend with a 06 T100. It's been sitting in the garage forever and the tank and carbs are a mess. I found a set of carbs off of a running 07 T100. What do you think? Can I put a set of carbs off of an 07 onto an 06? Yeah, I could clean them up, but time, motivation and a more predictable outcome are the main factors here.

Any time you wonder if parts are interchangeable, go to Hermy's site (triumphestore) and compare the parts numbers for the model and year. Therein lies your answer.:2cents
In addition to what PieMan stated - if you need to swap the pilot jets from the old to the new - Do a triple check and cleaning of the pilot jets. Also worth checking the inline small screen filter on the fuel supply line at the "T".
Otherwise its a direct nice change out.
Thanks for the tidbits. I did not know that - makes sense :smile2:
