Question Anyone know how to drill

holes in baffles on EFI scrambler? I need a little more sound. Saw how they sounded on youtube but wasn't sure how and where they drilled the holes. Bob

On a T100 if you look at the exhaust pipes from the rear you will see an outer and an inner tube. You drill a series of holes between the two and then pull out the inner one.

It takes a bit of working loose, but when finished you will have a much better sound, for free !!!!!

Quality difference Togas vs. Sleepers?

Hi there! Has someone used both Norman Hyde´s Togas and British Custom´s Sleepers? Is there any difference in finishing and quality overall?

Planning just to purchase Togas or Sleepers. I don´t like anymore the TOR´s sound because it´s not a clean rumble. The idling sound includes some messy sounds with TORs. I´d like to hear only a clean bass rumble when idling. Youtube clips tell, that Togas would be the nearest. But how is the quality and technically accurate measures when fitting it to the Bonneville SE 2010...

Hi Gents,
Figured I'd throw out my current predicament (something I'd file under good problems to have). I've got a '13 T100 Black waiting for me in a crate for the snow to melt. I know I'm going to want a little rumble once I get it run in, and am not worried about keeping my warranty. I can't convince myself to like the arrow pipes (my test-ride had a set and while they didn't sound shabby, I just don't like looking at either the 2-2 and 2-1).

I'm stuck between a zard cross or just running slip ons like the BC Preds or TPUSA Dominators. I'm not sure what kind of ponies the zard will get, and like the removable dB killer. I've watched the jackpine video enough times to think the zard sounds sharp. Preds and doms are classy pipes and sound the business. So i guess the question is, should I work my way into the zard or just go for it?

Personally, I don't like Arrows either, but I also don't like the look of the Zard (especially on a T100). Also, IMHO, you'll have a hard time finding a better sounding pipe than the Predators. But if you like the Zard and the sound is a toss-up, go for it.

If it were me on a T100, I'd be looking at Noman Hyde Sleepers. Just sayin'...

Choices, choices

Thanks, Stephen.

I agree that the zard cross looks a little goofy on a stock T100. There are so many possibilities with these bikes that I may go for polished preds or sleepers until I put some miles under it (and give it the ol' garage stare down) and decide where to go.
I've got the disease, so something is bound to happen, just not sure if I'm willing to commit to a pipe that costs the same as the arrows and end up with a(nother) closet full of shiny parts that didn't make it onto my bike!

A set of NH Togas were on my '03 when I bought it. Sweet sound, not excessive. Only problem is one has road rash and no one has just a left side to sell. Saw a seller on ebay with a stock shaped stainless unit but no sound clip or manufacturer's info. The togas have the 60's shape and sound. British Customs has a stainless copy. My Hydes are 7 years old and have no rust or burnout. Togas are nice and won't piss off the neighbors or the cops (just don't hammer it to remain relly quiet)
