Aftermarket marker lights

Hello all,

During a recent fall which I posted about last week, I broke one of my front turn signals on my 06 T100. After examining the signal, I realized that it was made of plastic (probably why it broke), and very cheaply made. I looked into replacing it, and found that it was actually cheaper for me to buy a pair of aluminum marker lights, than to purchase one of the OEM marker lights. I found that I liked these:

My question is, has anyone used these before? Experiences, quality, etc? Also, are these relatively easy to install? I am not very mechanically inclined, although I have changed the oil, spark plugs, leaky gaskets, etc. I can do simple things, so I am wondering would it be easier for me to just buy and replace the original, or are the aftermarkets pretty easy to install (plug and play)?

They aren't plug and play - you'd have to change the connectors either on the loom or the indicators, although it's not difficult to do. Apart from that it's an easy job - indicator on, bolt over the wires and tighten it up and connect the wires.

I have them on my '09. I am a human of average to low intelligence and less mechanical skill, and they went on pretty easily. I love the way they look vs. stock.

Ninja -> Ninja -> CBR -> Moto Guzzi -> SV650 -> Nighthawk -> VFR800 -> Bonneville -> Moto Guzzi -> Thruxton R
