I replaced the stock seat on my 09 Bonny with the Thruxton gel seat. I am very happy with the Thruxton gel seat. I've done whole day rides, with breaks of course, without an issue. For me the setup is perfect. I'm about 5'11", 200lbs and a 32 inseam if that helps. For me the slight rise in the stock seat was right where I needed to be. The Thruxton seat has the rise a bit further back and the front of the seat dips a little lower towards the tank.
That being said, people are different shapes and sizes. Seats are kinda tricky to dial in. I see posts with folks that have gone through several. Also the gel gets a little warm in direct sunlight.
