Hi I like the look and reviews on this tire http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...Rear-Tire.aspx
Has anyone used them? Also would the 140/80/17 fit my 2012 Bonneville T100? The standard tire is 130/80/17. I live on a gravel road and there are lots around here. The Metzler shimmies badly on that surface even with a lower pressure.

I run the TR91s, size 140 in the rear. I ride mostly asphalt, but the handful of times I did ride on gravel, they seemed fine (or what I'd expect from a 90/10 tire). These are my first set of street biased dual sport tires so I don't have much for comparison. But they look great, and treads seem solid at 4k miles.

I ran a set of GT501s on my now departed W650 and liked them a lot except some rain grooves would cause the bike to go into a slow weave, like riding over a bridge w/ a steel grate road bed. Have you experienced anything like that?

I don't understand the comment about made in Thailand?
When I pulled my sprint down to replace the timing chain I found in raised casting Made In Germany on the cams and also stamped on the cogs of the cams. Does that mean that I own a German triumph not an English one? Just because a part is sourced for overseas doesn't mean it is not a triumph, or does it?
Kawasaki in Australia has compliance plates that state they are built in Indonesia.

dont have that trouble .I think that has more to do with wheel/tire size.That controls how round the tire is where it meets the road.With the tires that camw stock on my bikeit wanted to go with any lines or groves in the road,now it just rides over them.

I was after a comment on the tires but yes the whole bike is made in Thailand and shipped to the USA from there - something John Bloor would rather not have you know at the sales counter!
