I must admit I have considered the oil viscosity, so I will wait till after the first service, and try it again. It has now done 500 miles, and the service is booked for Saturday.
After they have changed the oil and filter, I will take it for another blat up the dual carriageway, and see if it has improved.
I may be wrong here, but I don't think this has anything to do with running in. The gear change mechanism seems to come unattached from whatever it connects with in the gearbox. I suspect something is not right.
And I will take your advice and ride it like I stole it. lol
We shall see!
Mine was doing that badly when less than 50 miles, but I have now put 90 miles on it the problem seems less. Talk to my tech..and was told once I change oil at 500 miles...the issue should go away.... Keep me updated.
